SIMS

The SIMS Parent App gives parents/carers access to their child’s conduct information, attendance and timetable.

This will allow you to see your child’s attendance and punctuality, along with their achievement and behaviour points on a daily basis and allow you to have conversations with your child that support their learning.

There is a website (www.sims-parent.co.uk) and a mobile app for Android phones and for Apple phones called SIMS Parent App. The mobile app must be downloaded from your Apple or Android app store. Parent accounts are set up by following the link in an invitation email from school. These can be linked to an existing account with Microsoft, Apple, Google, Facebook or X.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • When will I receive my invitation email to activate my account? Invitation emails are sent, in the autumn term, to parents/carers who we hold email contact details for. Your details will be sent from noreply@sims.co.uk
  • How do I update the contact details that the school holds for me? Email the school (info@dwhs.co.uk) or send a message on MyEd. Please clearly state your child’s full name and form in your email.
  • My invitation has expired. How do I get a new one? Invitation emails expire after 90 days. To request a new one, message the school on MyEd, or call in on 202 8566 6446.
  • I don’t have an account with Microsoft, Apple, Google, Facebook or X. Can I still sign up? Yes. You can choose to sign in with a SIMS ID – and can register a new account. You will need to do this direct from the website.
  • Will I be prompted to login to the App each time I access it? The SIMS Parent App will keep you signed in for 90 days. Following this you will need to sign in to the App again (please make sure you use the same provider as you registered with).
  • I’ve forgotten which account I signed up with. Can you help? In school we can see whether you have accepted your invitation with a SIMS ID or an external provider. However, if you ensure that you verify your email when registering, you will be able to action this yourself at www.sims-parent.co.uk.
  • Can I see this information on MyEd? The SIMS Parent App and website run separately to MyEd and requires different credentials.
  • Why do the Calendar, SIMS Options and some other sections not work? The school calendar is stored separately, and this does not transfer to SIMS Parent App. The SIMS Options feature is not used in school as It does not match our bespoke options process.
