Dormers Wells High School Celebrates Exceptional Ofsted Inspection Outcome

Dormers Wells High School is proud to announce the publication of its latest Ofsted inspection report (February 2026), which recognises the school’s continued strengths and ongoing commitment to excellence in education.


A Strong and Inclusive Learning Community

Inspectors recognised that Dormers Wells High School is a vibrant and inclusive environment, where pupils feel safe, supported and valued. The school continues to foster a culture of high expectations, respect and ambition for all learners, ensuring that every student is encouraged to succeed.

The school’s ethos of inclusion remains a key strength, with a curriculum that reflects the diversity of its community and promotes a strong sense of belonging among students.


Quality of Education and Student Progress

The report highlights that students make strong progress from their starting points, supported by a broad and well-structured curriculum. Teaching is underpinned by subject expertise and a clear focus on building knowledge over time.
